Brief course description:
This programme is practically a foundation course that forms the basis for all other skills that involve dealing with people. In this course, participants understand the important physiological and psychological processes involved in communication. It builds on the fundamental NLP presupposition that “the map is not the territory”. It looks at the various ways people filter information they receive and respond to their interpretation of that information. This is often results in costly misunderstandings that can be avoided with proper clarification. The course looks at eight different communication principles that motivate, support and encourage people. It also shows participants how to ask the right questions to improve communication and make sure that the intended meaning is clear to all.
